Any luck with it?

Re: Windscreen Wiper and Indicators Stopping
Aw thank you for checking Roger.
Yes it's in and working. It's a completely different animal to the last one so its sound confuses me. I can't tell if it's slow turning or not! But anyway it was car MOT today so got it in yesterday just in time.
Today they suggested (at my friendly garage) perhaps having my battery isolator switch so it breaks the positive instead of the negative lead. In order to have the absolute best earth. I suggested this to my boss who was a trained TV engineer and he said no. He inspected my earths and said it all looks great.
I did also change the ignition block. The old one nearly fell out for some reason!
I did remove the positive cable, clean with sandpaper and reattach today. And that is literally the only thing I hadn't yet done. I doubt it was the reason for anything since I changed the battery recently because I thought that was why the starter was sometimes slow. On the way home I did notice my headlights were not flickering. They seemed bright too. Could be a coincidence. It started beautifully.
Time will tell!

Re: Windscreen Wiper and Indicators Stopping
Lots of things done today. It's driving lovely. The timing was done properly, valves adjusted. Hasn't misbehaved yet..
I rather like the sound of the new starter motor now. It's very mellow. It sounds slow but i think it's turning quicker than it sounds.
Haven't been any issues with wipers or indicators. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the help, everyone.
