I've just come back from the engineering company, who are going to bore out the crank cases to accept the visa barrels. Hopefully ready next week, but it's a bank holiday weekend.

You should have special rubber grommets for the push rods.

@AZL57 In the first instance, I will see what I can 3D print in ABS, just to get it running. Then, if I can get it to run, I will look into other printing filiments. this look promising https://3dinsider.com/tpu-filament/

With Geo we did cut tapered parts from a very thick walled rubber tube. It worked ok till the engine seized. But the car (sahara) kept running we didn't see it till we arrived at the garage and realised all the flywheel bolts were snapped off and the flywheel kept turning happily.

The barrels and pistons look acceptable. Though I've yet to take the other side off.

This is the design I've come up with for seals at the moment. We will see how it fits when it comes back from the engineers.
