I got one to the UK already, you never know... I got a mail from a friend in France who told me my licenplate was from 1956??? Very strange.

I meant the Deuche although both are really lovely.

The green 57 didn't start this morning??? Very strange 2 57's quitting service in a week. I worked on a faulty headlight saturday. Maybe i knocked some wire off.

Nothing strange to see. Measured all wires with the multimeter and they seemed to be ok. So i cleaned all contacts and the sparkplugs. Little test and it just started like usual... Hope this was it. Last week it looked like the c3 club had a meeting in front of the house...

The green one did drive rather weel today to work. Only a slight shudder left in the clutch. I did feel the clutch lever with the running engine and it felt like it touches some rough spot on the mechanism when engaged... Strange, the sliding plate and carbon ring were new.

Did check with a strong lamp. There was some movement in the carbon ring itself. Looks like the carbon part moves in the metal holder. But i don't want to take the whole thing apart if it doesn't get worse.
