Re: We have liftoff..... That's ok, the later ones were riveted. If you move them up and down vertically and there are no scratching noises you can re-use them.

Learning something every day. Never seen a riveted one. But no noises might also indicate it's seized... When moving up and down vertically(shaking), you should feel the weight moving in there.
