   |   1982 Dyane Fuel Tank and LinesAfter being off the road for about 8 years Im going to try and get my dyane running this week. I will need to drop the fuel tank and clean it out of stale petrol. Also I will need to replace the fuel lines, they are all very brittle. I haven’t got access to a ramp. Should this be do able just sat on the drive?
Also the internal sound proofing is very poor, I don't seem able to source any for a right hand drive dyane. Is it possible to use the 2CV soundproofing on the dyane?

 Many Thanks

 Pete

   |   Re: 1982 Dyane Fuel Tank and LinesYes fuel lines run on the side of the chassis. Only difficult part is the bit on top of the tank but if you are taking it off anyway then that will be no problem than. Other thing take the manifold off. If the car isn't used for so long there will be an buildup of rust and soot that will fall in your cylinders if you try to start it. So cleaning is welcome.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's probably electrical (or, an electric fuel pump!) ....
