There's not a lot on the site to translate...

A bit about whether to go for carbs or injection.
A bit about the Weber 40DCOE/Dellorto 40DHLA carbs or the Bosch K-Jet injection they're using.

And lots of seriously horny photos of manifolds, plenums & carbs.
GS twin carb or injection
2cv downdraught carb or vertical throttlebody injection
2cv sidedraught carb or horizontal throttlebody injection.

I'm very surprised they're using Bosch K-Jet - that's the old mechanical constant injection that died out in the mid '80s. I'd have expected they'd be using one of the modern mappable engine managements. <shrug>

I like this : http://www.2cv-performances.com/shop/pr ... _product=6

Not sure I'm bothered by the K-Jet though, one of the more reliable injection systems. I'm very tempted, tbh...

My french isn't so good (ie it's non existant). What else might I need to get to put one of these things working?

Does anyone have any experience of these?

The €200 price seems to just be for the manifold. On top of that, you're going to want the carb or throttle body and some kind of filter set-up.

If you go for the carb, you're going to need to do some work to set the jetting up correctly - they may well be able to give you details, but it'll depend on your exhaust setup and other factors.

For the injection, you're going to need a LOT of other odds'n'sods... I've got all the hardware to get Megasquirt up'n'kicking, apart from modifying an inlet manifold, but I'm looking at putting it on the G engine in the Mehari (the day the fuel supply's the biggest item on the to do list...) - and €700 for the G manifold...?

Hmm - looking a bit more expensive then! tbh, the picture here:

http://www.2cv-performances.com/shop/pr ... product=11

Looked like most of the kit required, but there's gonna be a decent fuel pump requried too I guess. The nice thing about k-jet is that it's mechanical, imho.

The fact that they list that as one product for carb or injection makes me think it's just the manifold. Oh, and...
