It was cold and very windy but dry.......until about half one whereupon it pissed down. We did manage to BBQ mostly in the dry, though, fortunately.

I would be very pleased if here was so warm what it looks on your photos...

Well, not to any A-serie, but my daily drive. At here, it was "warm enough" to hassle with LHM hoses on Xm engine bay what lost almost all of the LHM about 200 km from home and 150 km from garage... -18'C and very windy, all the time when repairing that leak, I was trying to remember why I didn't repair that on last summer when was warmer and more light...

Yes, and with injection, the engine behavior is much better...

Photo from some years ago...

When that Dyane was carburator, I had to start it from -42'C and then it needed some little helping, extra battery etc, but about 11 hours earlier it started well at -36'C...

I can say, it was cold as h*ll, and of course my petrol heater stop working at that time. 50 km feeled more than 500 km then...

Very cool. Literally, lol.

I hear a lot of complaints about cold starting but mines always been ok. Unless I've forgotten to change my spark plugs, and then I'd have to push the thing up and down the road. Although the coldest mine see's is about -5!

Well, now -30'C and getting colder. Not nice. Tried my Dyane, flat battery, didn't even try to crank. Something related also 10W-40 mineral oil, forgot to change them...

Too cold even to our dog. Usually it enjoy outside, but now starting to raise feet very soon...

It isn't enough, with those oils. Have been there, had 6 volt starter over fifteen years, changed brushes once per year...

Last winter didn't have any starting issues, with 12 volt starter, but thinner synthetic oil. Now just forgot to change, new synthetic oil is waiting to go to engine. Only good thing is, I have no need for drive that when Xm is still working. And another, soon it is warmer, some weeks ago Dyane started well when here was "only" about -15'C...

Some video of starting on -20'C. The temp gauge on dash show "only" -15, it was about 5 degree wrong at then, now it doesn't work at all...

Changed inner tube to one winter wheel. Got flat on one day, with new valve it last two days. When looked old tube, it was repaired couple of times and it must be at least 25 years old. Hope that new tube will last to the end of these studded tires...
