Fitted a Mini RC40 exhaust to it - makes a much deeper thrum, although surprisingly quiet now...a good £40 spent....

Very nice, but I'd recommend keeping an eye on that rubber strap which is in direct contact with the exhaust pipe.
I'm sure that there's a good reason why Citroen used a standoff bracket... ;)

It's not the main support - there is a proper mount on the rear of the exhaust - I used the original to support the whole gubbins whilst I sealed the front joint on the swan neck....

Put the kids in it, packed a picnic and borrowed a couple of kayaks from a neighbour and went 200yds down the road to the beach for the day. Absolutely perfect, exactly what having a 2cv is for. I'm going to miss it when it goes! (Should be on eBay tomorrow night)

Yeah, it's just easier to load all that stuff in the car than carry it because lazy.

The exhaust doesn't really get that warm that for down the line, well not in my experience...
