Awesome stuff Max! I got my first 2cv when I was 15, happy times! That was 20 years ago though but you never loose the bug Enjoy.

yes that I think was when we went to the skate park across the road.
And about the blue one, It was taken apart for a re-chassis I think about 15 years ago! And I got it from a bloke I think near Matlock in 2012... Maybe you drove past my house and saw it?

Oh and that was was when it had the adventure bumpers (Now Martin Smyth owns them)

So the blue one came from near Matlock, then? That'll be why I recognise it! I can't quite place it now, but was it from Brassington, which is a little village near Carsington Water? I remember there being a Tropical Blue one sitting around there for a while a few years ago. Maybe it's not that one, but I certainly recognise it - maybe from when it used to be on the road 15+ years ago. It possibly even came to our local group meetings back then.

That's great news! So where was it sitting around? And also, you haven't got any pictures of it have you?

Hi Guys , thought it was about time I joined , have been Driving various “A” series for over 40 years , always had one lurking about , indeed often more than one !!!
have owned Dyanes, Mehari's and now settled with my 2cv for the past 19 years which I totally rebuilt 18 years back , I guess it will see me out , Just done it’s pre hibernation routine , ( Pressure wash ,50 mile sunny day run to dry it out , then loads of waxoyl it’s now snug as a “bug” in it’s dry garage till next spring , while I finally get around to sorting out a shed full of spare parts , I moved 2 years back , it came as a shock to the removal company , their estimate included the garden shed contents , but they didn’t look inside
