Bought a one person bleed kit from Halfrauds - seems good value at £5.99 and does the job - brakes now much more progressive and even.....

the workmanship is shonky ive stripped a thread already

Rolling a bead puts quite a curl in even a short section, the dies are pretty narrow for the likes of boot floors but should be easy enough to get the right size fabricated, as its for the Blue Car im not fussed by originality- id even considered doing away with the boot and bobbing the back

Ive no body work steel so ill need to try to get to the stock holders next week looking at making up seat box with swages as well as the boot well.

seemed to handle 1mm galv sheet, its difficult operating the crank handle and feeding the work in at the other side and think thats where the curl came in

need to fabricate a fence or guide as well as a return spring to open the dies when finished

it weighs a ton.

Went on BBC2CV first anniversary run. Started off with coffee at local, and then went on convoy to Avoncroft - once there we had cake, and a look around the museum before we took this pic 8-)

Three runs to the tip, seats out, roof back, car full to the brim, double mattress and some timber poking out of the top.

Took it for a fairly short (for me) drive out around the country lanes of Worcestershire. Got back to the house, reversed it into the garage and decided to scrape away some bubbling paint on the front bumper. More on my thread in 'Your A-Series', with photos.

Had a run up to Oulton Park to watch the 2CV racing - spoilt a little by a big shunt on the first lap that resulted in the air ambulance needing to attend....I hope the lady driver is OK and our best wishes go to her.......
