Heading for Folkstone tomorrow afternoon as I'm booked into a seafront hotel overnight, and driving the last 10 miles to Dover on Saturday morning to get the ferry to France. Staying in a gite near Amiens for a week. It has a covered parking area for the 2CV. :)

Fitted new spark plugs and HT leads to the 2CV this morning, in readiness for my journey to Kent later.

Went to see a school friend that I've not seen in 17 years. Took the 2CV and went for brunch. She loved the car, and commented on how "fun" it was 8-)

Finally got round to investigating a terrible knock on left handers which had been getting worse and worse and I was starting to think of expensive things like cracked chassis or worn trackrod end. Upon investigation, it turned out to be nothing more than the front wing inner, which, for reasons unknown, had come adrift from the two rubber cleats on the chassis leg and was fouling the drivers side suspension arm. Half an hour of spannering and I've repositioned it correctly - problem solved! So relieved.

New cardboard heater pipes. I gave up with the awesome but noisy aluminium ones and went back to standard. So much quieter!

New air filter sponge, and new little plastic plugs that go in the top of the B pillars.

It was pay day.. :-)
