don't throw away the old parts yet. I heared stories about bad replacement parts. I had a kit of which the accelerator membrane leaked whitin a day. I did put the 40 year old one back in and is still functioning well 6 years later...

I find that wire wheeling leaves scratches when I try and clean things up. How do you get a smooth surface?

It is a bench wire wheel so I can control it a little better than with my drill. It is also quite a fine grade wire that mostly shoots into my shirts like a porcipine each time.

What/who is "CAS" - for that carb rebuild set? I'm coveting the brass float as I have something very similar on my H-Van, but with cracks in it....

CAS is Classic Automobile Services in Holland. I am getting most of my parts from them as they are very well priced and I also get zero VAT.
The guy there is called Corné and they all speak English very well. So if I get into difficulties with a part etc they send me photos etc to fit it correctly (remember my car was in a state, so I have no reference points).

Zero VAT?
Until you've sold the stock, whereupon the French Government can expect receipt of the relevant amount as recorded in CAS's EEC sales return?

I am vat registered in France and this vehicle will be a company vehicle ;) , so whatever I spend on it has the vat taken off at source within the EEC.

My latest and hopefully final wiring diagram for the 12 Volt conversion and added bits and bobs. I have everything now that is required except for the secondary electric cooling fan....any recommendations would be great.
