Yes, that's the one. What is the object of it? I assume there was a specific purpose they were built for?

High-speed newspaper deliveries, from memory.

Yes - there's a fella over on autoshite.com that used to drive one delivering the newspapers across Europe. They racked up some mega miles!

Yep, there were several running around here, getting the freshly printed newspaper in time to catch a flight in Charrel de Gaul Paris, they had a delivery window of about 4 hours for a 422km way.... Always at night, no matter rain storm or snow.... The drivers Always had many stories to tell and also the local Citroen dealer who repaired the cars or put in a fresh Turbo diesel engine after 600000 km or so.....

Another from our trip to 'Forn Parts' lol. This very tidy 2cv spotted on the quay by the river Waal in Dordrecht last Tuesday evening:

....from the olden days before proper computers (with pictures and all that). Print was King and the money sloshing around in that industry makes Gates and Google look like a school fete

Last few spots from our mainland trip. This beautiful Belgian van turned up and camped next to us in Langres and the Austrian reg DS/CX duo were parked in town one evening.

In addition, whilst on the road, we saw one Belgian 2cv near Dixmuide, three more French ones in France plus an Acadiane parked up and one more, a nice red and black, in Holland. Having been abroad many times in the past and seen none, I reckon this isn't a bad tally!
