My other half, who, I'm afraid to say does watch some dreadful commercial television, currently has a program called 'take me out' on. What the living fuck is this? It's like blind date for vacuous slappers and men who are missing a chromosome. I'm glad in three sheets to the wind and only capable of moaning on the Internet otherwise I'd have thrown my telly in the pond and cried myself to sleep.

I dunno if anybody from 'not Britain' gets this shite on thier tellys but its honestly like watching the sort of girl you look at and think 'she would be attractive if she wasn't so vain and up her own arse' desperately trying to get a free holiday by impressing men who love themselves deeply but don't have two brain cells to bang together. And in the UK, it's somehow REALLY popular!? It's on prime time Saturday night telly. It makes me sad.

Over here it's the same, especially the commercial networks broadcast mostly shite.
Apparently this suits the averege viewer, and apparently the averege viewer doesn't have much taste and/or intelligence.
A lot of the crap is made ("invented") in our country i'm ashamed to say.

Colin Furze is a plumber by day - but in his spare time he retreats to his garage and invents things. Not necessarily useful things.

I might have posted this before, but if I have it was a few years ago so it's due another airing. Here's Colin Furze building his Wall of Death ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSjhjaN5zKI Britain needs more people like this, preferably in government.

Met him very briefly at a PPC event as my cousin, who I was with, knows a friend of his (or similar..)

He is hilarious and absolutely mad as fuck.

I just watched him on YouTube making a jet engine out of an old car turbo and a toilet brush holder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InvF9e5kyjo Very funny watching him jumping up and doing and wooping like an overstimulated 4 year old as he tested his invention!

The fact that he almost blew himself up added to the entertainment! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FYZFAuhFV4
