Thanks, as you can tell its a replica Groveland which we have cast in aluminium from our own pattern that we made from measurements from an original Groveland column (Groveland became a synonym for this style as there's so many replicas from the period it's hard to find an original now. Ours are cast in four pieces and I weld them together. Sadly the picture doesn't show our Windsor style lantern (also crafted by my own fair hand) and in some ways that's a shame as we feel they compliment the Groveland column better than any other, on the other hand Lewisham insisted that we use a reflector with horizontal mounted lamp as opposed to the more traditional vertical lamp within a refractor which, whilst perhaps are not the latest in high tech lighting they do look 'right' for the 1908 design of the lantern.

Been locked outside my mate's flat after all three of us left the keys inside and then shut the door. Neg times. Refuse to pay for a hotel but a locksmith in Paris apparently would charge 800euros. neg neg mate. neg.
