First motorcycle I owned was a Kawasaki 100cc (9 years old) bought it by repairing cycles and selling them. First car I drove was my dads Cortina Mk4 at around 14 years old on the caravan site we were staying on. First offiical on the road car was a Worsley Hornet 998cc and a Honda 50cc moped (could not afford a Yamaha FS1E)... It was Minis from then on - on the road and rally spec.... 2 divorces later that all stopped...

First car I drove Ford 100E 3 speed gearbox my first own bike was a BSA 650cc A10,which I hitched to a sidecar so I could ride it legally on 'L'plates, but I did have a few blasts solo..I also rode several bikes belonging to mates also somewhat illegally. The first car I owned was a BMW Isetta which was swopped for the A10. After the A10 was stolen I had an A65 Thunderbolt export model ( Spitfire head fitted with single carb) with a Watsonion Monza sidecar.This was also ridden solo having passed my test. From then I went solo to BMW 500s, 750 Norton Interstate ( stolen) 850 Intestate, 600/6 & 750/6 BMW. K100 BMW ( stolen) K100RT last bike,(not to mention the various bikes I rode for the constabulary) Then I saw the light and got my 2CV after over 44yrs of bikes I sold my K100RT and just have my 2CV...Opps forgot my faithfull Raleigh Runabout that I used after my A10 was stolen.

Just a thought does setting up my Kart for racing by blasting round the local road count ?

Had a Honda CB50 at 16 then at 17 once i passed my test a 1976 black Morris marina 2 door coupe...

Neither a car or a bike - this was the first vehicle I drove...

Bought a Mazda 323 DL 1.3 petrol (I think?) as my very first car aged 17 in 1988. I still remember the reg number- MYB 513V, if my memory serves me right. Was a bright green colour, not dissimilar to Bamboo Green on 2CVs. Didn't last long, was a bit of an old wreck.

Drove many of my dads cars sitting on his knee through Lyme Park in Cheshire - all Fords - Cortina, Corsair, Zephyr - first owned car was a 1968 Mini van that I bought in 1976 for the massive price of £50 which cost me about £25 for new 2cv joints to get through its MOT - those were the days of properly cheap motoring - mind you, probably spent as much on plastic padding to fill all the rust holes!

then whilst doing my year out in sunderland I bought herman also ..for no apparent reason!, austin princess 1958 hearse cost 650 pounds, sold it after mot and revarnishing inside for 1300 to a lad from essex.
