Why have these people waited 40years to come forward? Must be the smell of compo I suspect as why, in their 50's now, would they not have disclosed the "crimes" 20 years ago if they couldn't face doing it at the time. FFS, what evidence exists now apart from word of mouth and their word against the defendant?

come on Nels,these young girls,at the time,probably were shitting themselves,just like the poor victims of Mr Saville.Just because it happened all those years ago,doesnt mean that it was an "OK" thing to do.Because of the exposure of the saville perversion,it has obviously given other victims the strength to expose other pervs,and hopefully bring them to justice.
Notice one thing about all this,all the people that have done these disgusting thinks are all old men,when they commited these alledeged deeds,they probably thought they were above the law.And being celebrities,they thought they were safe,probably paid their victims off.Bastards.No one,who ever they are,should be allowed to get away with this.

I'm not defending the behaviour of these people, if they are guilty then the law should follow its course - it's just that, as they say, the past is a foreign country, they do things differently there.....what we now think, in these enlightened times, as distasteful, was, I'm afraid, common practice and don't believe all the "I was just an innocent victim" crap - I remember the 70's well and was a young man into rock music and young girls used to throw themselves on even low level rock stars to notch up on the bed post - I personally know one under age girl who proudly boasted of bedding the Hot Chocolate singer Errol Brown.....

My girlfriends dad was saying 'in them days' a lot of children pretended tl be older. He was telling me his wife when she was 14 pretended she was 20 to get guys to talk to her, so i bet some instances will be similar to that
