From what I can figure out, the internal arrangement of a crossbox is designed to ensure that the exhaust gas path from each cylinder to the outlet is, as near as dammit, of equal length.

That's one of the basic rules for ensuring best power output from any exhaust system, iirc.

If you add another outlet at the other end of the crossbox, much of the benefit from the original design will probably be lost.
Unless you open up the expansion box and rework its internal baffles as well? :roll:

Mine is equal from cylinder to outlets, so must be good :D
