Looked are various options, but the transfer box is too deep.
Need to reduce the height so it doesnt protude below the bottom the the chassis!
As they say measure twice.....

All the new parts made "in house" or modified Citroen parts. Only the Tig welding and wire-cutting and bolts and bearings from suppliers/experts. Waiting on the small (13 tooth) sprocket to be edm/wire-cut for the splines. Now to carefully clean and assemble into a working transfer box. The housing now in many parts, due to "bodgeing" but ended up with Triplex chain and the box now fits with +/- 20mm adjustment/clearance. Just need a Mehari 4x4 style of chassis:) Attachment:

Getting spilnes cut, is now much harder:(
So a compromise....the drive flange (EN24T steel) welded to a turned down unused sprocket (EN8? steel).
Will they weld and will they survive?
