I'm guessing you mean early 20th Century. Still don't like the front-end of the new Picasso, it looks far too weird with the position of the lights.

Its a bit like that nissan quashqai(?) with the side lights above the main lights.
How many cars will be using that platform?

Mum's red 'spesh in for its MOT today, trying to figure out how much to sell it for when it passes. Argh :(

Apparently, VW has a clever twist on the modular idea, with its Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB)

Other car makers are very interested in this idea. I only know this cos my brother works for Jag-LandRover. I couldn't give a toss.

It's a really clever idea, but it means that whatever VW group car you buy, you still have a golf.

TBF - thats been happening for ages - VW Golf/Beetle/Touran/Audi A3/Skoda Octavia/Seat Leon have all been built on the same floor plan for some years now with many different variations of engines and gearboxes differentiating them along with the various body shells welded onto the ubiquitous floor.
Same goes for the A1/Ibiza/Fabia/Polo.....and not only that but Corsa/Mito/Punto share the same and then there's the 500/ Ford Ka floor plan share too......list goes on as manufacturers try and keep costs down by sharing development costs.

18sq metres of bathroom tiles is too heavy for a Peugeot 106.

The staff at my local Wickes like taking the piss out of their customers misfortune.
