 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Drove mine from Hagley to Clows Top and had a whizz round the Worcs/Shropshire back lanes. Bought 6lbs of sausages from a farm. Drove back. Lovely!

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Just home from work: went straight round to the garage and jump started the van off the Focus - the van hasn't been out for four weeks  sat inside a cold, damp garage  Spray-lubed the carb, choke cable, etc Out for a spin shortly...

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Fitted a new battery - a Varta B18 440 and tidied up the heater hose to the screen as I had no demister on last night's drive, though my feet were warm enough

Messed around with the Shed trying to get the headlamp wires through the bar - due to old stiff wires, the little feckers would not come through the holes so may have to redesign them - then to cap it all, lent on the coil and snapped the spark plug lead socket off one end.....grrrrr

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Tested my credit card after getting it re instated and spunked a load of money on some bits and bobs (now not getting a new truck lost my cheap / free source of fuel . ) Going to book an mot tomorow !! Again credit card

you can lead a horse to water but what about 2? the wife's uses her car everyday so the other week i decided to give it it's first polish of the winter (don't worry it was waxoyled to death underneath in the autumn) i wanted to get the damn salt off the body work as best i could! then as the old saying goes; you can lead a horse to water.....so i thought i would try to take 2 horses to water  but the saying is true is just stood there in the local ford doing nowt! problem is from taking this photo and giving it my kiss of death for cleaning it! someone has run into the back of it and we await the verdict of the engineer to give it the thumbs up or down...... will keep you posted
