Hardly, given that the calculation involved takes only a couple of minutes.

Although they did fall at the last hurdle, since 375,000 Lego bricks would make a stack 3.6 km in height, not 3.5 km.

This assumes that each Lego brick is the standard height of 9.6mm, which excludes those which Russell has remodelled with a lump hammer... ;)

Is that 9.6mm with or without the little knobbles on top? ;)

Just seen on the red button that Suzi Perry is to front F1 on TV next year. Just get rid of Eddie Jordan and it would now be perfect :)

Hi Luke,
are you sure you weren't christened 'Thomas'?

Mind you, to be technically correct, it should probably have been vertical pitch of a Lego brick.

( p.s. Does the MZ still meander along the Queen's highways and byways? )

It says a lot about the enduring appeal of Lego that websites like that exist!

The MZ's doing its thing quite happily, although carb icing and water ingress to the gearbox have been issues. A large fairing (probably similar to the one you removed!), heated grips, a shock absorber rebuild and a pair of new tyres have made it a bit more pleasant in this weather.

Congratulations on becoming a grandfather, by the way. :)

Well....it's a £30k car and its fully serviced (tyres, tax, servicing etc) over 3 years - the lease company makes its money on the re-sale but it still is a shed load of money - it is still cheaper, and off balance sheet, than buying and running a vehicle new - the other thing is that a lease is a great insurance policy - if it go wrong they pick up the tab.....
