 Re: Spa 2010
About the same power as having all the lights on, so not too bad. What are they from? fridges? I wasn't aware that fridges had heating elements. Who can work out how long a 150watt element will take to heat a water based liquid?

 Re: Spa 2010
Ahhhhh, hmmm. My maths says that heating 8litres of water by 40degrees (10c-50c), using 150 watts would take in the region of 2 1/2 hours. If anyone else thinks they know how to work it out please prove me wrong.

 Re: Spa 2010
Hi Joolz ( or should that be Joules for this discussion? ), yep, even without allowing for heat being lost from the 'receptacle', looks like around 3 hours wait. Back to basics then, wonder who's going to knock up some mulling irons for the camp fire or barbecue? < http://www.mtforge.com/Custom/pages/toddy.html > Ken Joolz wrote: Ahhhhh, hmmm. I know where my CB is - it's in t'other car, back in England. Oh well...
What time/day is your ferry landing in Dunkerque, guys? I don't have any set plans yet, but I reckon it'd be cool to meet y'all off the boat.

 Re: Spa 2010
Cool. I'll be in touch nearer the time then. I guess you mean the 10am departure from Dover on the 15th, which arrives at about 1pm French time?
I'm booked on the 14.01 return ferry on the 18th, so I'll either get that one (to get back to Derbyshire earlier), or just roll up for the 16.04 one with you.

OUT: Dover-Dunkirk 15 October 2010 10:00am BACK: Dunkirk-Dover 18 October 2010 16:04pm I thought we were going to Calais Something else I should feel I should ask - where are we actually going? Is it Francochamps which is about 15 mins drive from Spa? Also, is entry per car or per person?
