My memory is clearly failing me.
The H-van is fitted with an "invisible" festoon bulb, but it's obviously a proper fitting and not a bodge like the one on my AZU:

You can see the cut-out in the bulb-holder, but I think its job might be to allow the festoon bulb to show in the reflector, rather than in the tell-tale:

It shows at the top of this picture, and in the previous one too. You can see the way the bulb-holder detaches from the reflector in the picture below. It too is held on with something a bit like a bayonet fitting. I can't remember but I believe all the later headlights have the bulb-holder attached in some way permanently to the reflector.

And again, contrary to what I said in the previous post, the three pins are evenly spaced so it is possible to put the bulb in the wrong way round (in fact two wrong ways). But on the other side of the stem from the description of the bulb, it's maked "haut" (top).
