Not particularly 'techy', but i was wondering if anyone out there has the headlamp guards fitted to their 2cv - they were available through dealers as part of the 'adventure/aventure kit'.

If you do can you remind me how they attach - i think they bolt? to the headlamp bar? - what about the wires inside? I've got a set somewhere, i just can't find at the moment. A picture speaks a thousand words...

No pic I'm afraid buy they do just bolt through the headlamp bar iirc - you just have to try and avoid the wires!

Neil, I'll be in the vicinity of a 2cv that has such headlamp grilles on Tuesday next week so I'll get a pic for you if you can wait that long!

Got a manual to install them somewhere in my parents house. Its from the original adventure kit (also stored at my parents house) from Citroen Assecoires. If you want, I can make a scan of it, but that could take a couple of weeks before I'm @ my parents.

But they go through the lamp-bar. Not sure how to pass the wiring, maybe removing it orso..
