yea all online quotes are pointless, ringing them up is the only way to get the best quote
as online they were saying for me first time driver £1,800!

Job done - £102 I asked why such a difference? They told me that online quotes were not able to access the 'range of discounted policies' that they actually had.  Pretty pointless web presence then if you ask me, those prices would frighten folk away.

Unless you are a lonely old lady.

Yep, you have to phone them, and tell them you're a member of 2CVGB, to get a good quote.

i was quoted, because im a young driver and more of a risk.... 1,300 well i was actually quoted 1,700 everywhere, and managed to get it with tesco, for 1,300 because the women on the phone was nice..... im going for classic car insurence next time though, welli m going to try, just when i tried to get it this time no one would quote me

Jeez! I'm afraid Footman James don't insure under 25s anymore, and I presume from your premium you must be very young, so you'll have to wait a few years if you want classic cover with them!

Really? I rang them just last week to see about putting a friend on my policy and they said they couldn't, as she's under 25. The answer you get from FJ seems to vary depending on who happens to answer your call!
