 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I'm guessing the 602ification is the reason for the wide headlamp bar? which, I have to say, does indeed look out of place on that car. It strikes me that if you're going to go to the trouble and expence of re-wiring a 2cv to "aircraft specification" you could probably have bothered to chop and re-weld the lamp bar

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
That was the first thing I noticed Sam! All the effort to build a really nice car and that spindly-snail-eyes-on-stalks look spoils it. Having said that, without seeing it up close, the pictures would suggest it's a very nice car and not massively overpriced considering.
One thing I do like about the 602 conversion is that it's not a late engine, making it look a bit more 'right'.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I agree. Looks like it is in good condition, so the buyer can do better lamp bar.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Interesting colour choice, it has me stumped as I like it but don't both at the same time. That lamp bar does look weird, the bloke spent 1200 hours doing that car when 1202 would have had it spot on.
