 Re: French National 2010
Charlotte - yeah I'm basically hoping that they'll ignore us if we stay over, as I'll be in no fit state to drive far on the Sunday. If we get kicked off, then I don't plan to go far, and leave the hack back up to Bolougne till the monday.

 Re: French National 2010
Is it not best to try the tunnel (£45 each way, and no sea spray rusting the car)
ferry is alot cheaper (£11.50 each way, but i begrudge having to pay £9 for fuel charges). Still, £32 all in return is better than Tunnels £90.

 Re: French National 2010
Ferry booked! P&O, reasonable sailing times and only £50. See you there!

 Re: French National 2010
I'm being a bit lazy and skint (don't go back to work until March) so I'm leaving various bits of this to the last minute. Other than the extra 3euros I'll have to pay to get in is there anything I really shouldn't leave until the last minute?

 Re: French National 2010
Only the ferry, sometimes the western channel routes can get a bit full

I think my passport has a few more months left on it, the MOT should be ok. Hmm ok thanks for the advice

 Re: French National 2010
I *think* you need at least 6 months left on it to be allowed to travel.

 Re: French National 2010
I thought that last year, Jono, but that only applies to certain countries, like the States As long as your return is before the passport expires, you're ok to go to EU countries. I used my previous passport last May, it expired in July.
