 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as Thomson and Thompson And anothing thing, Tintin is about 16 years old, but Jamie Bell is 24 in March, so he is going to look too old for the role.

 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
Where does it state Tintin is about 16 years old?
I've heard about the film, but to be honest, even with George Remis faith in Spielberg, it doesn't interest me at all. However if you can lay your hands on a copy of 'Tintin and the blue Oranges' the final scene features an old ripple bonnet 2cv!

 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
But as far as Im aware, none of the books or comics ever quote an age. Certain scenes wod depict the character as older than 16.
Y'know how geeky some folk on here are about 2cvs....

 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
He's a professional reporter and he's regularly seen driving, surely that would suggest he's older than 16?

 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
Yes but if he is a typical Frenchman, he will have been driving since the age of 10 anyway ;D

 Re: 2010 Tintin calendar
Just perused the Wiki page on Tintin and apparently, he's supposed to be somewhere between 16-18 yrs old.....17 then Seeing as Tintin first appeared on the 10th January 1929, add 17 years, that makes him 98 yrs old
