 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
When I wanted to remove a scrappage 2cv from a yard they said I could have everything from the front bulkhead back. The front bulkhead had to stay in the scrap yard as it carries the plate, but they were happy to let me grind everything form the windscreen surround back and hoik it out.

They make it up as they go on... There's nothing in law (afaik) to stop the car being removed complete. The paperwork's gotta go back, but that's it.

I was under the impression that as a blanket statement, "the car cannot be put on the road with the same identity", so read into that what you will.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
No reason to suspect not. "Acad for sale, sold as seen. Offers" It looks suspiciously good, bodily. I'm suspecting non-runner, mebbe chassis. It's in Poitiers - so do-able in a day from the channel, with a trailer - and far enough south and inland that lack of rot is eminently possible. Just a bit north of where our AK came from last year.

"Recently passed it's MOT, but we have let it slip", or words to that effect. It ran out last May!! That means it passed nearly 2yrs ago!!! That isn't recent!
