Rotherham And District Association of Roaming Snails
I guess no-one here is going to the first ever meet?
The leaflet that was attached to the 6special says it'll be at the Bay Horse, Scholes Village, Rotherham, S61 2RQ tonight and the first Wednesday of every month...
I still can't drive following the accident but I'll be heading down with mum in her 2cv to see whats happening.
Pete

A very well attended meet. We had to leave early but many still there. Managed to fill the carpark with 2cv's *happy face*
Great to see you again Jono

Ten cars and 19 people ....[all in 2CV's] ....a superb turn out for a first meeting. It was great to meet some familiar [and new] people.....[Hi Michael,Pete & "Mum"] An excellent choice of venue [well done Charlie & Julian] The pub has a good choice of traditional beers and the landlord supplied us with free sausage rolls......he also sez he will "cordon off" part of the [large] carpark for our future meetings. Anyways ....heres the pics, sorry they're crap, but it was dark and my camera is crap. Here's looking forward to the 2nd meeting .....6th January .....see you there folks .... best regards Terry

Re: Rotherham And District Association of Roaming Snails
It was nice to see some of you Rotherhams again, and to meet a load more new ones (I didn't realise there were so many 2cvs there).
See you again in Jan or Feb (I might not be able to make it to the January one).
BTW, I'm sure I counted 23 people!
I had a "Neil Moment" last night, when I saw a 2cv in the car park that I'm sure we were parked next to at the 1992 Regsiters Day! I don't think I've seen it since then until last night. It's a G reg white one that's been done as a D*lly, but with blue bits instead of green/red, and it is called "Splash", with, I think, the Splash decals taken from a contemporary AX limited edition.

Christ! i have a picture which i *think* i took at the Wessex ducks indian summer camp in 1992, or it could have been from Salisbury International in 1991. It's good to know it's stil around!
