Post Eriba Puck
I'm certain I saw an image of a 2CV6 towing an Eriba Puck caravan a few weeks ago. I wanted to send the link to a friend and now I can't find it anywhere, nor on 2CVGB. Any ideas please?

Ah, thanks Tom. I also searched but failed to locate these. I've always had a soft spot for the Eriba Puck, and they certainly seem to have a strong following, but I can't help feel it's a bit cruel to the little 2CV to have to tow a caravan, no matter how small.

AFAIK are Eriba Pucks a bit too heavy for a 2cv (empty around 400kg). Only the first series where light enough to get towed bij a 2cv, but these are hard to find.

We have an English build folding trailer (around 300kg empty) and thats doable. Been with it in the UK en CZ last year.
With steep hills the car struggles, but we get there eventually ;)

here you can find a list of eriba's... I'm not that much in eriba's. Mainly because it's to heavy to tow with a 2cv..

Paul, have a look at Portafold folding caravans (IIRC that's what yours is isn't it Tom?) they are light enough to be towed by a 2cv and are pretty cool looking too.

Ian Seabrook, 2cvgb webmaster, had an early Puck for a while - and sold it because it was SUCH hard work to tow behind the 2cv.

Visa engine is your friend (maybe fit a race cam) + travel light is a must.
The red 2CV on the beach down under is pulling the Puck easy, no worries.

I love a good teardrop, me! They may be a little expensive, but you can make them yourself for not too much dollar. At 300kg it should be okay...?

(couldn't find a pic with a 2cv - sorry!)

Or there's the luxury option:
