 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
German spec Club: 1984 CITROEN 2 2cv 4dr left hand drive Saloon for sale After much deliberation and sole searching I have finally decided to sell my bellowed ‘Nuckelbiene’. She has been with me since 1994 (with only two previous owners), but unfortunately lived unused in the garage for the past 3 years. She worked wonderfully over all these years and never failed or let me down once. I invested in a new chasse in 1999 and had her re-sprayed only a few years ago. Although the battery is flat, she is in an excellent condition and it shouldn’t take much to get her up and running again. Year of registration: 1984 (in Germany), 1996 (UK) – A Registration Model: 4 Door Saloon Colour: White Type of Fuel: Petrol Mileage: 78995 km (49085 miles) Price: £1800 If you are interested, please feel free to contact Tina on 07813328558 Location: private garage in Earl’s Court, London

You never know. My D*lly had been stood in a field for 10 years, yet it only needed one small patch of welding on the floor!

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I had a look around a bleu celeste Special that had been stood in a chaps garden for a while somewhere in Chesterfield about a year ago. If this is the same car then from what I could tell at the time the shell was in pretty good nick. The sills, pillars, screen surround, rear sweeps were all decent but I never saw the floors or chassis cos it was piled up inside with shite. I know the chap was on about moving abroad so it could well be the same car. It'd be interesting to see what a bit of spit and polish could do for the poor thing. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=s40+4dh&sll=53.235358,-1.424146&sspn=0.097812,0.307274&g=chesterfield&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Chesterfield,+Derbyshire+S40+4DH,+United+Kingdom&ll=53.242625,-1.459679&spn=0.000191,0.0006&t=h&z=21

I know that car too, and also initially wondered if it was the same car. However, that one was last on the road in 1998. I also have a sneaking suspicion that it's now this raid-prepped car for the Toureg Trail (I could be wrong there though).

That'd be good news. I felt sorry for it. The bloke who owned it was a smashing chap but had lost interest in Citroens. I bought a few bits off him.
