Drove it down to Devon. It was lovely, if a bit nippy because I still have a little whiff of fumes so kept the heater off.

Did have a hot water bottle & a blanket. Haha.

Almost completely water tight after all my efforts. It rained a lot! One of my new wiper spindles does let in some water, which is a little annoying as I bought the better quality ones. Oh well..

Had the 57s door and boot locks out. Disassembled and greased them. They were getting sticky this morning at -3 degrees. One had water inside, the other dried up grease.

I was having trouble with main beam, stripped and cleaned out the light switch.
All better now. :D

Good idea. I greased mine up just recently before the cold hits properly.

It was minus 7 degrees Celsius this morning. I was easily able to open my drivers door but the passenger side and boot couldn't be unlocked. The car started perfectly. So cool. (Literally..)

Rain and gales in Shetland today, so 2CV stayed firmly locked away in the garage. Hopeful that tomorrow will be good enough to take it for its regular exercise down to the ferry terminal and back (17 mile round trip).

Fitted new manifold and alternator with Rick Pembro's help.

Forthcoming days I'll be retuning 1-2-Spark as we had to remove and refit sensor.

Looking forward to it!
