Spotted a butterscotch Ami 8 at the Worcester end of the M50 yesterday morning, then a couple of hours later an extremely shabby (and very cool) Ami 6 in Hereford.

Yes, sort of! Although I miss the days when you could buy one for a hundred quid, drive it till the wheels fell off and then buy another one ... not sure I could afford to run one (or any other classic motor) now that you actually have to look after them. I don't have the time to do it myself and I don't have the money to pay other people to do it for me.

You could have mine, it's going on eBay later as Ive replaced it and have way too many cars already, first £500 takes it. Mot until June or July (can't remember which). Ideal for somebody who doesn't want anything precious.

500 sheets? That's a bloody massive bargain and a half! Cool-looking car, too.

I'm afraid it's on eBay now as I really have got to get it out of the way ASAP. 99p start no reserve. It's had a few bids but so far nobody has been interested in coming to see it. I think somebody might be a bit disappointed. I've pretty much driven it into the ground since my wedding. It still goes though. Still commuting in it at the moment. I think £500 was about right taking into account it's condition.

We had around twenty cars, with Bob's grandson driving his old car (a Blueberries &Cream D*lly) After the gathering at the castle, we drove down to the Inn on The Wye (second picture)

Spotted by my other half in Sandy, Beds this morning. Possibly a visitor to the town as we've not seen any other A series in the town in the last three years.
