Yet only a couple of the cars with grille muffs fitted? :roll: Oh yes, hadn't noticed that. To be fair, by the time I took the pics it had warmed up a little but we did have ours fitted for the journey down to the meeting point, an hours trip first thing in the morning.

Yes, I love the looks of the galvanizing. And it is pretty low, but it's going to be raised - so no Snail. Those dudes don't like tall 2CVs.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? I had a quick look at my driveshafts and King pins, getting an odd little noise in reverse. The garage missed the inner lower bit of the wing when it was in last and it's bent over the driveshaft rubber. Surprised the rubber isn't torn. Got to love the easy fixes

After spending the night in Northwich, Cheshire, I drove across the M62 to Wakefield (SNOW!) and then down to Wolverhampton
Once I'd dropped off the moggies, I decided that I'd continue to the Godiva club night - by the time we'd reached home we'd covered over 300 miles (at 41mpg too)
