Brakes need attention when you've got the bonnet up. ;)

Fitted new heater hoses and headlights then gave the car the once-over, took it for MOT and it passed. Phew!

The old hoses were so knackered they pretty much fell apart as I removed them, and one had absolutely no foam remaining inside it. Would have done this job much sooner had I realised just how easy it is.

I knew someone would comment on that... Got another set of discs to go in this weekend, along with a rack rebuild and some bizarre electrical gremlins to sort. I should also probably reinstate my choke cable with the days getting colder.

Yesterday I went on a BBC2CV run to Clent - we stopped at St Kenelms for a short history lesson, or in my case to take several pictures of the cars. 11 people came along, and 7 cars. Good times 8-)

Picked up the red rabbit from attempt number 2 with a king pin, but also a fresh MOT and new handbrake pads. (I can never quite get how to change those pads!)

It feels great to drive. I've missed it sitting in the yard too. The yard (shared) looked so miserable without the Deuche sitting there cheering it up! A mini sea of grey silver and black cars. I guess I'm not used to it being away these days.

Gave the roof a scrub. Need to reproof it but the sun disappeared about a month ago..
Washed the car while I was there, and took off the washer reservoir bottle to clean it out.

At the moment the screenwash effect is like a bad joke.. I heard that mixing different brands of fluid can give a bad reaction and turn it manky in the pipes, doing this worked a treat on my other cars.
