 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Decided to give it a run around the potteries to check everything was as it should be and seems to be running fine - managed to lose a bolt out of the manifold to heat exchanger clamp which then dropped off creating a right din - must have missed tightening it up when putting it all back together at the weekend.......ah well, if that's the only thing then I'm a monkey's uncle.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Sold it. Was paid by bank transfer last week, but it's official: it's being picked up on Friday. This will be my last in a long line of A series Citroens, but they're just not suitable for daily use any more. Not unless you've got the time and money to keep on top of the maintenance, and have neither of those things.
Thanks to everyone on here and at 2cvGB for the advice, parts (often free!) and general chat. I've had some fun with these cars over the years, but it's time to move on now.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Yes, I read that and to me it seemed to come right out of the blue with no further discussion to Russells initial post. If the forum is suffering financially then maybe a call to us more frequent contributors for funding might be one way to keep it going?
