More appropriate for an A series than referring to them as 'ducks'?
On the surface, just calmly floating along, whilst the hidden drive elements are paddling away at full tilt...

I presumed that it was something to do with 'gliding along' but I mistakenly believed it to be for the suspension, not the engine...

Yesterday I reconnected the battery, got it running, drove out of the garage, gave the rear wings a polish* while the engine ticked over, then reversed it back into the garage.

*I've been working my way round with a cloth and a bottle of Autoglym.

Charged up the battery for the Dyane Turbo and took it out to the town to get some grease and some grease nipples for the Traction. Ran very well, although I do need to seal the exhaust manifold joints as it is letting air in when the Turbo kicks in.

Not sure why I had the issue a few weeks back, but better now :D

A few of us Puddleducks spent Sunday morning cowering from the wind and rain at Staplefield, south of Crawley, to watch the annual Vintage car run go by.

A few interesting spots whllst we were there:

Yup. We spent an enjoyable and interesting morning with all of those folk but I didn't post any pics of Colin or Bob and Carols vehicles as they are quite well known and the other two, plus the Tractions, were all new to me.

Had someone reverse into the o/s front wing whilst Scooba has been borrowing it as his Swift Sport has an ABS fault - thankfully it's the worst wing and really was a tiny scratch that will buff out - put a nice big scratch on the Megane that did it though!
