eBay moan:

Why don't people understand it? Put a reserve on your item, or a starting price close to what you want for it, or just sell stuff in a classified advert, or, if you must, get your mates to bid it up for you, but DON'T sell it then completely cut off all communications when I win it for the 99p starting price. Won a diff at the weekend and mysteriously the seller hasn't been in touch. Arsehole.

And I bought a set of wheels this evening for a bargain price and the seller of those hasn't been in touch either. Grrr.

It always annoys me that if you win an item you are obliged to pay for it, but the seller is NOT obliged to sell it to you.

The rules say that it is a binding contract, so how come the seller can back out?

None of the above! It's another Trabant. I wish I hadn't sold my first one and it would be ideal for Autosolos and 12car/Targa rallies.
