Re: The O/T thread! Took part in the fete de Le Tour de France, where us normal people could ride sections of this years tour. Luckily the time trial goes near my house so did the 33 kms on my mountain bike as thought road bike would be too fast.

Re: The O/T thread! Right. Ms RT is in bed, I've got a large glass of Laphroaig Quarter Cask, there's nearly three hours of MotoGP to watch on the iplayer and I've got no reason to get out of bed before about midday tomorrow. Does it get any better than this?

Apart from that you should be getting up at 8.00 in the morning and in your polytunnel talking to your competition onions, then we could all say theres a guy who knows is onions. Peter

Currently sitting in an internet cafe in Basel, melting in the 35 degree heat and trying to enjoy the last day before some big mountains! Alps here we come...
