i was thinking one of those. but im not driving it right now since im just using it to get back home when i need to. im going buy another bolt. is there anything down the end that it will damage if left there? |

I used a bamboo cane with wrong way round insulation tape wrapped around it. |

It won't do any harm, but you should be able to undo the clamp bolt at the bottom and move the column up enough to allow the bolt to drop out. |
