right guys, we fitted the AM2 engine today, got it running eventually....
lack of fuel... put my fuel pump on it... no lack of fuel...
now... it starts when it wants to.... and it runs really well... its having problems idling, it ticks over fine with some choke... and without it for abit... then just dies... and it wont start up for atleast 10 mins... i havent tried a different coil yet, "i think" the one thats on it atm is my original one, as my current one hasnt been hooked upto it yet... but it runs, but when it stops it doesnt wanna run again... i'm not sure for definate what the problem is.. or whether its just the fact this is an old engine.. thats been sat untested for many years, and now as usual ive come along and want it running properly right here right now...
i was thinking about trying a different carb on it aswell, just to see....i'll let you know whats happening, but some help would be lovely as tbh... i really dont know very much in the problem solving dept...
