Re: Painting the car.
Paint is such a beeatch. I used aerosol on mine, the colour match from Ecas is excellent for my Rouge. I made it look showroom, but it didn't last long.
I learnt a lot though. 2 pack is incomparably better. The weather is important. No damp in the air. Not too hot not too cold.
Personally I don't mind brush painting cars, if done well it can look nice. I heard theres a brush enamel they used to use, available to buy.

Bought 2 pack when painting bits of the van, hvlp gun, water/oil filter on compressor, panel wipes. Will do the Dyane myself probably next year when it's warm and dry in the tent, not 2 pack again though: at least you'll probably have the masks already .

I'm sick of the hassle, I've bought a butt load of stickers instead. I will apply them artfully and maybe lacquer over the top. Lol.

I did a car in 2 pack, turned out very good. But the health risk involved is just horrifying for a DIY situation.... Not sure I wanna do that again. But I want to paint more, if I find something a bit less insanely toxic.

I did one in in my wee garage in recent years ....used cellulose, Turned out not too bad Very forgiving.... Also did a classic Fiat 500 in 2 pack, (with all the kit.......), I would'nt use it again

I'm going to give cellulose a try, when that happy day comes and the welder is packed away .

Re: Painting the car.
Is doing two-pack with a brush less of a health risk than spraying?
I'm not considering it for a 2CV - the outside of a dinghy instead.
