thought id start a new thread after reading through and getting a few answers on the other post for my ami seats
sent a couple of emails and also spoke to Matts softops,they were really nice and hellpful and luckily they alread have a set of patterns for a early ami 8 seat set ready to go,so this keeps the price down
Im going for a retrim in vinyl,they have a new selection of colours in stock in a new fabric which is vinyl and looks like a leather

should be £400 to do and no vat :) so im going to be dropping them off and try to chose a colour,anyone have a pic or 3 of some amis with different colour interiors?
i was going to redo it in black but not sure yet
at the moment the cars bright yellow and the interior is mid poo kind of colour!

I'm not too sure about pix of Ami interiors, but Matt himself has an early 8 break, maybe he has some pictures of jobs he's done before?

yup mentioned he also has one,thats why luckily he has the patterns as they were for his own car,so i will have a look at his 1st,then hopefully choose a colour
slightly different stitch pattern to mine as its a earlier model but i dont think it will really matter to the end result when the car is done

I wouldn't imagine a different stitch pattern would make any odds at all if you're already using non-original material?

Sounds like this is going to be one nice and pampered Ami 8-)

well they were supplied with vinyl or cloth ive been told
i was going to be going for an exact replica of the original seats but im thinking a nice retrimmed set of seats slightly non standard stitch will be better than some tatty old sun bleached ones with holes in them :)
