Just wonderingif anybody knows the original (brown) colour of the engine cowling. My brothers planing on repainting his, and wants to keep it original. Thanks |

Black or brown, depending on the age/factory in which the car was built I think. |

its a perennial problem it never seems to get listed i had a small pot of rustoleum which was almost there Ford Rio brown is too dead it really is a burgundy "Rouge Opera" was the closest when a Scottish Dyane owner got it scanned. |

Wasn't the fan on the Ami 6 white specially so it could be seen thus adding to the space age vacum cleaner image...? Or did I make that up....
