Hi

put a new thrust bearer on there around February and adjusted it to give a gap of about 1mm

no problem with the transmission or clutch at all but the squeal from the thrust bearer is becoming annoying now. only does it when pulling up to a stop / riding the clutch - only started happening when i tightened up the gap (to about 1mm freeplay)

it's an old style tin top box with the sidehung lever arm

any thoughts? will it go away over time?

cheers
will

Have you oiled it? IIRC ATF fluid or 3 in 1 (better look in the handbook to be honest, I can't really remember) down the little oil filler thing by the fork. Mine never squealed but it took a long time of lubricating it and using it before it stopped dragging and slowing the engine down when the clutch was pressed.
