Hi

the rubbers on my Ami are in really good nick, but as i was cleaning it the other day and a certain amount of black deposit rubbed off them - so it has occurred to me that i need to treat them as replacements aren't gonna be easy.....

Red Rubber Grease has been suggested, the stuff you treat bushes and boots with.....will this be any good....i want it to soak in and stops cracks etc. and i THINK i need to avoid silicone? is that right?

thanks for any suggestions - and have a good weekend all

Will

Hi

Its UV that kills the rubber, so I'd advise using a dressing compound or liquid with a UV block in it.

There are a number of products around on the Market but I've used Amorall for a number of years and never had any issues.
