Post Windscreen panel replacement
I have bought a new windscreen panel, drilled out the old spot welds and removed the old rusty panel.
A freind has oxy,tig and mig, what would be the best way to attach the new panel, the sides concern me the most.

Drill out some neat 5mm holes where the spotwelds were on the panel you removed and plug them with mig weld. You're better off doing it with a spotwelder though. If he's a wizard with the tig then that might be a neater option.
