Windscreen panel replacement

 Windscreen panel replacement I have bought a new windscreen panel,drilled out the old spot welds and removed the old rusty panel.
A freind has oxy,tig and mig,what would be the best way to attach the new panel,the sides concern me the most.

Re: Windscreen panel replacement Drill out some neat 5mm holes where the spotwelds were on the panel you removed and plug them with mig weld. You're better off doing it with a spotwelder though. If he's a wizard with the tig then that might be a neater option.

Re: Windscreen panel replacement and you can cut a cheap clamp so it fits in the slotted holes to get it all tight
