Good luck John. Got the grey one booked for Saturday 10am, at the 'old' place. If it goes OK, might have to bring it out to play on Sunday. |

Well it got through.....kind of.... An advisory on one of the tyres Attachment: 1.JPG I had realised it was an old Mitchelin that had seen better days and was badly split, so I did the "old standard" and bunged in some bathroom sealant. Attachment: 2.JPG IT WORKED !!! I normally fill holes in tyres with underseal, but hey....Ive got the ticket to ride for another year!!! |

If you apply it in a continuous bead and with a wiggle, you've effectively done a re-tread. |

Now you are just being silly... ....Devils ....you remind me of a bloke I knew who used to pop rivet cars back together and run a "bumpy seam" of filler arounf the edge and stick bits of mig wire in it so it looked welded! Nowt wrong with good old silicon sealent or underseal on a tyre though...done it for years ! Only on the side walls though ! |
